School Clubs and Activities

We have a wide range of in-school and after-school clubs which run each term.  Please see the School Clubs section under "News and Events" for up to date information on this term's clubs along with timings, costs, etc.

 

Sports:

Key Stage 2:

  • Tag rugby:   Tuesdays 3.30 - 4.30pm run by Mrs Holland and Mr Bosence
  • Football, Netball, Cricket and rounders:  Friday 3.30 - 4.30pm, co-ordinated by Julie Holland.

 

Music:

We offer peripatetic lessons in Guitar, piano and  drums.

The teachers come in to school and children have lessons (length to be decided in consultation with teacher) at different times of the day on a rolling programme.  Parents liaise directly with the peripatetic teachers to arrange and pay for lessons.

 

 
Peripatetic staff are:

Mrs H Molyneaux (piano and violin), Mr Rob Brett (drums), Mrs Monica Chapman (piano and guitar), Mrs Highley (Suzuki Piano).  Mr Tom Dean, Guitar.  See the Music page for more information. 

 

Choir:

This is run by Jo Highly on Tuesday lunchtimes from 1.00 to 1.30 and is for any children in Year 5 and 6.

 

ICT & Touch Typing:

Run by Lesley Bolan on Wednesday and Thursday lunchtimes 12.30 - 1.30 pm and after school 3.30 - 4.30 pm on the same days. £6 per session.  

 

 

 

 

Boogie Pumps:

Monday 3.30 pm - 4.30 pm - run by Boogie Pumps Staff in the school hall.  Fees apply.

 

Let's Move Dance:

Run by Natasha Kostka in the School Hall.  She will be teaching street/jazz dance.  Every Wednesday, 3.30 pm - 4.30 pm.  12 sessions from 22/04/15 - 15/07/15.  Price £42 for the 12 sessions.  Contact Natasha for more details or to book a place on email: natasha_kostka@hotmail.com

 

Film Club:

Run by Jan Bosence after school on Thursdays from 3.30 – 4.30. For children in Key Stage 2.
